This colour sketch for Space Jam describes a scene just before the Big Match sequence, in which the Looney Tunes play their all-or-nothing basketball game against the Monstars. A huge traffic jam crawls from left of screen up to the dome shaped stadium on the horizon at right.The layout for this colour sketch include the very obvious reference to "Golden Arches" in the design of the burger bar on the left. However, the production crew in the U.S. was horrified when they noticed this reference. It was as if they had seen it for the first time. Given the somewhat rushed nature of the film, especially in its later stages, perhaps it was. |
