When the pupil is ready, the teacher appears...
Satori provides a series of user tips on start up. Once you have read them, it's easy to check the little box that allows you to turn them off. I confess that I have sometimes called technical support to resolve issues which are very clearly dealt with in the start up tips. Not heeding these tips can result in red faces. So take the time to read them carefully.
As you encounter problems and arrive at solutions, it's possible to edit these user tips to include the fruits of your own learning.
Go into the Satori root folder, and find the file called "tips.txt"
"tips.txt" lives in the root folder of your current version of Satori
Double click the file and it will open up in Notepad or Wordpad.
Enter the fruits of your learning on the bottom line.
![]()
Use the backslash ( \ ) followed by "par" (only use a space after the second "par") to separate the title of your tip from the body of the tip. It should look something like this...
Great Tip, huh?
Slightly more useful.
UPDATE! Satori Forum now at http://pub47.ezboard.com/bsatori52261If you want to write a tips list that is exclusively your own, save the original with another name, such as "oldtips.txt"
