Step Five: Ornament the face
Make the top Layer active, copy the yellow body object and change it from Filled to Outline.
Apply an Outline Width of 7, and a Style of Solid.
Do the same to the Cut object (the counter) but obviously change it to Outline, not Cut.You should end up with something like this...

Shaping up. |
Use the Connected Lines button for the straight inline ornaments.
You might feel that it's obvious to use the Open Bezier Spline tool for the curved ornaments, but sometimes it's easier to use the Connected Lines tool with lots of closely spaced Control Points, than to try fiddling around with Control Handles in a confined space. So here we'll use the Connected Lines to improvise a short curve. For the very short curve just under the counter, I placed four clicks, and nudged them gently into a curve.
Use the same orange as before.

Hit the button and GO !!! |

Turn the Grid Snap OFF, but keep a careful eye on the stretchy grey connecting line to tell you when things are exactly vertical or horizontal. When the line is either horizontal or vertical, it will be perfectly smooth and will show no stepping.
The settings for the inline ornament are: Outline Width = 12, Style = Airbrush.

Do the same on the other stroke of the letter. |
Now for the curvaceous bits. Choose the Open Bezier Spline button, using the same properties.

Use only three Control Points for this next curve. One at the beginning, one in the middle, and one at the end.

Keep the points the same distance from the edge. |

It could be better, but it's alright for Government work.... |
