We've had all sorts of wiggly fun on the previous page of this tutorial, and now it's time to play with some other Satori objects.
You can use the Replace brush style on Geometric objects, combining it with some of the other variants in the Styles tab.
The next image shows a Geometry / Irregular Polygon filled with a flat colour.
A simple Geometry object, and the relevant Alpha Channel information, below.
Now select a big Airbrush, and use the Replace brush style to paint into one of the angles.
The Alpha Channel, below, shows what's happening.
You begin to get the picture... Now bring up a text object by using the Geometry / Shape / Text button,
and fiddle around with the check boxes and spinners in the Styles tab of the Brush Setup dialog.
Don't forget the "Apply Now" button.
Useful for making text legible over a variable tone background.
The Alpha Channel stays the same.
Many thanks to Mark Graham of Spaceward Graphics, creators of Satori, for explaining the use of the Replace brush style.
He assured me that an understanding of this brush style would turn anyone into a Satori master. So what are you waiting for ???
